The mercury is predicted to rise to a high of 14C during the week. But, but, but, a westerly airflow looks to be heading our way for the bank holiday weekend and it may literally rain on our parade!!!

Many will be aware the I promote the idea that Carrick and Boyle are two neighbouring towns in a beautiful part of Ireland. I believe that it would benefit both towns greatly, if in some arenas, we were to promote and advertise jointly.
» We share a commonality, but are yet different in so many ways. In trading, attractions and other areas, what one town lacks, the other can supply. Both towns have excellent shops, the N4 and rail links. Boyle has King House, Boyle Abbey, its Musical Society, Civic Art Collection etc while Carrick has its hotels, cinema, swimming pool, The Dock etc., and all are no more than a 15 minute car journey from each other.

Considering we now have people who have died tragically as a result of this fiendish fad, any of you who have extra energy abundant, there are countless voluntary posts
available throughout the town within its myriad of groups. Like the South African lad, these would provide better YOUTUBE platforms and examples of community involvement.
